Dbms2sde is an ESRI ArcScript (with over 1200 downloads) and is a SourceForge Project with documentation, discussion forums, and bug and feature tracking. I welcome requests to fix bugs, make improvements, or add features. Moreover, on SourceForge you can subscribe to receive email notification whenever I make new versions available.
I plan to add polygon feature types, and I generally tinker with and make improvements to dbms2sde.
